Thanks to this imigration , Harlem was full of culture . For example in 1926 , Langston Huges wrote a poem entitled "I too" . In this poem he explains his way of life with his bosses who didn't consider him as human and imagines himself as a free and respected man with equal rights . There was also the jazz culture which was  the biggest part of the Harlem Renaissance . One of great figures of Jazz was the inventer the be-bop jazz , Dizzie Gillepsie who is represented in a mural painted by B.Mike .

Dizzie Gillepsie, mural painted for this 100th anniversary

In this movement there were also many paintings usually very colorful that give an impression of happiness. For example "nightlife" by Archibald Motley painted in 1943 that depicts a Jazz Club where smart-looking black people are dancing . This painting sends the message that Afro-Americans are equal to white people and can have  can have the same life and hobbies as all Americans .
